ANDY Murray and his brother Jamie were mistaken for a wedding party by a group of Americans as they let down their hair before the Davis Cup.
The two Dunblane born brothers were celebrating Jamie's recent US Open success at a formal dinner in Glasgow's Corinthian club when they confused the tourists.
As a group of pipers welcomed the lads and their rest of their team to the venue around eight pm some of them began congratulating the group and asked who the groom was.
A bystander said: "It was hilarious. The Americans didn't initially realise what they were watching. They just saw the matching blue suits each of the boys were wearing and came to the wrong conclusion."
An amused Andy and the boys laughed things off and still posed for pictures.
Andy's night out came just hours before news broke that Andy will miss his grandfather's funeral to play for Great Britain in the Davis Cup semi-final against Argentina.
Gordon Murray's funeral will be held on Friday as Murray takes on Juan Martin del Potro in Glasgow.
