GLASGOW JAZZ FESTIVAL SHORTLISTED FOR JAZZ FM AWARD



THE Glasgow Jazz Festival could be popping open the champagne corks after being

shortlisted for a Jazz FM Award!
 The Scottish festival, which takes place from June 22 -26 has been nominated in the Live Experience of the Year category at the 2016 Jazz FM awards.
The fest was nominated for the prized award following Taylor McFerrin’s performance at The Rio Club on the final night of last year’s Festival and votes for the winners can be submitted  untik March 31 via http://www.jazzfmawards.com/poll/vote-2016/ 31st March.

The fest in association with Regular Music has also just announced another big name for this year's event in the form of Vintage Trouble  whose music has been described as ‘James Brown singing lead for Lez Zeppelin’, 

The lads who supported AC/DC across the Us, and Australia, have just completed a European tour will appear in the Old Fruitmarket on Saturday June 25. (Tickets go on sale on Friday 26th February at 9am and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.co.uk )
